Why choose us

Why Choose The Garage Door Doctor?

Our motto really says it all, “Honest, Quality Work – At a Fair Price.”

Locally owned and operated since 1987.

One of the most common garage door repair jobs that we see everyday is the broken torsion Spring or extension spring. If your garage door spring looks like the one in the picture, it is broken and the door will not go up. Attempting to lift a door with a broken spring can be extremely dangerous.

We are a family run business and we treat others the way we want to be treated.

how we started

our story

Andrew grew up in the Houston area and he attended Klein High School. Andrew is known for his outstanding customer service which is likely credited to his former career as General Manager of a excellent restaurant in the Houston area. Andrew dedicated many months as an apprentice to learning every aspect of garage doors. Andrew has excelled beyond all expectations.

Later in 2013, Ryan Kowalke joined the Garage Door Doctor team. He grew up in Spring area and attended Klein High School with Andrew Wilke. Ryan served in the US Marines for 5 years. He has one son. Ryan also was an apprentice to our team for several months until he surpassed expectations and has become an expert in our field. He spent years in the construction field so garage doors did not take long for him to master.
